An independent compatibility tool
Will My Dock Work? was built to answer a deceptively difficult buying question: whether a particular dock will provide the connection, displays and charging a laptop setup actually needs.
The site is independently operated by Airborne Media & Consultancy Ltd (company number 17415868). It is not affiliated with Dell, Lenovo, HP, Apple, Microsoft, ASUS, Plugable, Anker, Kensington, CalDigit, StarTech.com or other manufacturers referenced in the database. Product names and trademarks belong to their respective owners and are used only to identify compatibility subjects.
Editorial approach
We prefer primary manufacturer documentation, record uncertainty explicitly, and distinguish source-backed facts from our derived compatibility assessment. Our aim is useful planning guidance, not a guarantee of performance.
Sources, review and corrections
Manufacturer specifications, support documents and compatibility matrices are the preferred evidence for device capabilities and exact supported pairs. Each sourced record identifies its evidence where practical, while the methodology explains how those facts are converted into a compatibility result. The database and supporting pages were materially reviewed on 6 September 2026.
If you find a specification or compatibility statement that appears out of date, use the contact and corrections route and include the exact laptop or dock model plus the manufacturer source where possible. We review corrections against primary documentation before changing a source-backed field.
Commercial model
The site may display advertising and may later use clearly identified affiliate links. Commercial relationships do not change compatibility rules or manufacturer-source labels.
